kaiyves: ourpresidents: Return to earth - the Ascent Stage of Apollo 11.  July 21, 1969. -from The National Archives digital archives.  Nixon Administration It’s easy to forget that, compared to the other missions, Apollo 11 was not really on the lunar surface for that long.  Also, on a personal note to all of my Tumblr friends out there- we have to celebrate the HECK out of Apollo 15 on the 26th, because that’s my favorite.  I know people who think Apollo 11 had a rover and that Neil Armstrong hit a golf ball. :| Also, I will help with Apollo 15. I feel like they are under appreciated.
