A wonderful composition by Ed Hengeveld showing a relaxed Gene and Jack’s helmets after the last lunar EVA. NASA started having the commanders helmet with a red strip as they could then tell who was who in the photographs after they were developed. Al Shepard of Apollo 14 was the first Apollo commander to have the red strip during a lunar EVA.
