lightthiscandle: kaiyves: Okay, so I was in the College of Arts and Sciences building today, studying, and I saw the lights were on in Farouk El-Baz’s office, and his secretary was in, so I figured it would be nice to say hi, since I’d met him on the first day of school.  Now, I was just planning on waving and saying “Hi”, but Dr. El-Baz insisted that I sit down and tell him all about my first semester and the archeology courses I was going to take in the spring term. So I did. I mentioned that I’d shared my other photo online and that, since a lot of my online friends like Apollo, they had enjoyed seeing it.  “Did they know my name?” He asked. “Yes.” I said, and it was so cute how happy that made him. So then, he insisted that we take another photo in front of his big moon picture next to the pictures of him training astronauts, to show to my friends.  So here you guys go, this is a gift from Farouk El-Baz to all of you guys.  Wonderful! This is seriously the best.
